Diese Kategorie soll Arbeitsgruppen mit kuratorischer Projekterfahrung die Vorbereitung eines größeren Projektvorhabens ermöglichen, indem Eigenmittel für die Beantragung weiterer projektspezifischer Drittmittel zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Realisierungszeitraum ab 2027
Die Beantragung von Fördermitteln (wie bspw. Hauptstadtkulturfonds, Kulturstiftung des Bundes oder spartenoffene Förderung) erfolgt mit Unterstützung und in Kooperation mit der Geschäftsstelle. Für das Projekt stehen ab 2027 bis zu 16.000 € als nGbK-Eigenmittel zur Verfügung.
2027 bzw. spätestens 2028 muss nach erfolgreicher Drittmitteleinwerbung eine Aktivität (Ausstellung, Veranstaltungsreihe o.ä.) im Ausstellungsraum der nGbK am Standort Karl-Liebknecht-Straße oder am Standort station urbaner kulturen/nGbK Hellersdorf stattfinden. Weitere Veranstaltungsorte durch Kooperationen sind möglich.
Für die Einreichung des Projektantrags ist ausgewiesene kuratorische Erfahrung nötig. Dies ist durch die Angabe von max. drei Referenzprojekten von mind. einer antragsstellenden Person nachzuweisen.

Alle Projektrealisierungen sind vorbehaltlich der Finanzierung durch die Förderung und haushaltsrechtlichen Vorausetzungen des Landes Berlin.

This category is intended to enable work groups with curatorial project experience to prepare a larger project by providing funds for applying for further project-specific third-party funding.

Project realization from 2027
Applications for funding (e.g., from the Capital Cultural Fund, the Federal Cultural Foundation, or open-sector funding) are submitted with the support and cooperation of the nGbK staff. Up to €16,000 of nGbK's own funds will be available for the project as of 2027.
In 2027 or 2028 at the latest, following successful third-party funding, an activity (exhibition, event series, or similar) must take place in the nGbK exhibition space at the Karl-Liebknecht-Straße location or at the station urbaner kulturen/nGbK Hellersdorf location. Additional venues are possible through collaborations.
Proven curatorial experience is required for the submission of the project proposal. This must be demonstrated by providing up to three reference projects from at least one working group member.
Project realization is subject to the continued funding of the nGbK by the City of Berlin, and to compliance with all funding regulations.
